This certificate is required for starting work at catering establishments as well as certain professional fields or for commencing studies. The purpose of health assessment is to prevent the spread of infectious diseases to clients, consumers, or patients by infectious employees through work processes. Based on the risk assessment conducted during employment, the employer has the right to send an employee for additional health assessment during working hours.

  • Laboratory testing is conducted for other infectious diseases if the additional health declaration provided by the health certificate applicant confirms a history of infectious diseases, travel to risk areas, exposure to infectious diseases, presence of clinical symptoms, etc. The healthcare worker will make a decision regarding the necessity of additional tests.
  • You have to pay for the health certificate prior to the tests. The certificate can be issued on paper or by e-mail. Please inform the family nurse during the appointment of your preference for receiving the certificate.
