Whistleblower Protection Act

Whistleblower Protection Act and reporting channels

Perekliinik is committed to high ethical standards and adherence to transparent management. To maintain trust and foster an open work culture, we fully support the Whistleblower Protection Act to ensure protection for the persons who report breaches of European Union law which have become known in the context of work-related activities. We provide safe channels for reporting possible violations and unethical behavior.

What is the Whistleblower Protection Act?

The Whistleblower Protection Act provides protection to individuals who report incidents or suspicions of breaches occurring within an organization that may violate the law or endanger public interest. The purpose of this Act is to protect whistleblowers from potential repercussions, such as retaliation or discrimination, and to encourage the identification and resolution of violations.

What violations can be reported?

You can report about the following breaches:

  • Violations of laws and regulations
  • Fraud, corruption, and bribery cases
  • Breaches of occupational health and safety requirements
  • Violations of environmental protection regulations
  • Other serious unethical activities

How to report a breach?

Our organization has created a secure and confidential reporting channel that allows employees and other parties to safely report breaches under their name. Whistleblowers can submit their reports through the following channels:

  • Email: Send your report directly to our whistleblower protection team at usaldus@perekliinik.ee
  • Phone: Call our dedicated phone line during working hours to report breaches directly to the person responsible.

Confidentiality and whistleblower protection

We ensure the confidentiality of all reports and handle them with utmost care. Whistleblowers are protected from retaliation, discrimination, and any other adverse consequences resulting from their good-faith reporting.

Next ateps after reporting

Once a report is received, an investigation is initiated to assess the seriousness of the case and, if necessary, appropriate actions are taken. Whistleblowers may receive feedback on the progress and results of the investigation, as long as it is appropriate and permitted by law. Anonymous reports or those made under a pseudonym will not receive a response.
